Bobby M Back to Back

The Bobby Militello Quartet will be making back-to-back appearances this weekend.  First up on Friday October 10th beginning at 8pm, the quartet will be at PAUSA Art House.  For this event, Bobby Militello will be featuring the music of Dave Brubeck.  This is certainly a tribute stemming from his days beginning in 1982 as the alto sax and flute player for the Dave Brubeck Quartet.

Here is a classic few words from Dave Brubeck on Bobby Militello and how they got together.  Includes a 1984 perfromance at the Newport Jazz Festival:

On Saturday, October 11th, look for the Phil DiRe Quartet at Giancarlos in the Tony Walker plaza beginning at 6:00pm.  The quartet features two legends in Bobby Militello on alto sax AND Phil DiRE on tenor sax, George Caldwell, on piano, Russ Algeria on drums, and Wayne Moose on bass.  A great combination here.
