The Sunday Afternoon Jazz Series continues this Sunday at 189 Public House, located at 189 Main Street! Carina & The Six String Preacher will be the featured jazz artists and band for this occasion. They put on a captivating show in the rare art form of Jazz Noir. Must see and do not miss this brand of talent in the Buffalo jazz community. Show begins at 4:30pm.

On Thursday, May 28th at 8pm at Pausa, see the Buffalo Jazz Octet with special guests Bobby Militello. This band composes original music and borders on the edge a bit with some out there free jazz – but sure is a stimulating band.
On Friday, May 29th, at 7:30pm, the young Jon Lehning Trio with Harry Graser on piano and Anthony Henry on bass will be at Swiston’s Beef and Keg
On Friday, May 29th, at Saigon Cafe, beginning at 9pm see vocalist Mary Stahl with Jim Calabrese on keyboards.
At 8pm on Friday, May 29th, see the Bobby Militello Quartet at Pausa Art House with Bobby jones, Jim Colemon, and John Bacon, Jr.
At the Roycroft beginning at 8pm Friday May 29th, you can catch the Hot Club of Buffalo beginning at 8pm.
On Fridays beginning at 8pm, you can see the Jazz Example led weekly by pianist Doug "Trigger" Gaston.
On Saturday, May 30th at 8pm, see Blue Stone Groove and their Summertime performance at Pausa Art House
On Sunday, May 31st beginning at 6pm at the Historic Colored Musicians Club, see Elliott Scozzaro on saxophone with Alec Safy on bass and Abdul-Rahman Qadir on drums. Sunday jam to follow.
On Wednesday, June 3rd, beginning at 7:30pm at Mason's Grille in Hamburg, see the Gerard & Chamberlain Quartet with vocalist Cheryl Ferris
On Wednesday, June 3rd, at 7pm see jazz vocalist Colleen Williams at GiGi's Cucina Povera in Kenmore

Fabulous female jazz vocalist Nancy Kelly makes a visit to MusicalFare Premier Cabaret June 19th with her band she will perform with at the Rochester International Jazz festival.
Announcing soon, jazz vocalist Paul Marinaro from Chicago will be performing two dates in August, August 29th and 30th, at the Premier Cabaret in MusicalFare. Brought to you by JazzBuffalo and MusicalFare Theatre.
On June 16th, Mary Stahl will be doing a benefit performance for the Western New York Artists Group as part of their fundraising event at the Saturn Club.
