Wednesday Night Jazz hosted by Wayne Moose continues this week with jazz vocalist Laurie Bordonaro. Begins at 6:30pm at Mezza Restaurant on Elmwood Avenue. She is an exceptional singer in the spirit of bebop and jazz vocalese. Wayne Moose on bass, George Kane on guitar, and Tim Clarke on trumpet will join Laurie. Next Wednesday will feature Joanne Lorenzo on vibes with George Kane on guitar, Abdul-Rahman Qadir on drums, and Buddy Fadale filling in for Wayne.

On Saturday, at 8pm at Pausa Art House, the Jon Lehning Quartet presents Saxophone Colossus featuring special guest Bobby Militello, with Jon Lehning on sax, Derek Hager on sax, Anthony Henry on bass, and Campbell Ryan on drums. The young jazz lions meet the legend.
