This week, the duo of Pat Flaherty and Craig Kastelnik return to the area for multiple performances. Sometimes known as the Kato Duo, Pat Flaherty sings while Craig Kastelnik plays piano/organ. This husband and wife team, with roots in Niagara Falls and now residing in Pennsylvania, plays regionally throughout the Northeast.
Pat is known as a dazzling singer with strong low overtones. Craig is a seasoned piano and organ player with credentials in TV and film composing. Composing and arranging for the History Channel, A&E, and PBS. He also worked with Anne Murray and Bob Hope while serving as the musical director for entertainer Eddie Rabbitt.
The duo will be at Mezza Restaurant for Wednesday Night Jazz with Wayne Moose on bass on October 7 beginning at 6:30pm. Their tentative schedule throughout the week has them this weekend at Wine on Third in Niagara Falls and possibly at Milkie’s on Elmwood. So be on the lookout.
Here is a clip of Pat Flaherty doing her rendition of the classic tune At Last. Should be a fun homecoming for this duo!
