Buffalo’s evolving jazz scene gets a visit this week from legendary jazz pianist Bill Charlap. Another in a recent flurry of national international jazz stars stopping in Buffalo, which also includes Peter and Will Anderson Trio and TriBeCaStan.

The Peter and Will Anderson Trio, Sunday, May 22nd at 7 pm at MusicalFare Theatre Premier Cabaret Lounge
On Sunday, May 22nd at 7 pm The Peter and Will Anderson Trio make a stop on their national tour in Buffalo. Fresh from their Moonglow tribute to Benny Goodman at the Jazz at Lincoln Center, Buffalo is in for another treat of world-class music. More details here on JazzBuffalo.

TriBeCaStan, Saturday, May 21st at 8 pm at Pausa Art House
This genre-bending jazz band comes to town to Pausa Art House. Bringing with them their eclectic mix of sounds varying from funk, Ethiopian, swing, and etc. Truly something different.

In June, look for two exciting series presented by JazzBuffalo and partners The Hollow Bistro and MusicalFare Theatre to begin:
The First Saturday Jazz Brunch, which will begin in Clarence at The Hollow Bistro and Brew on June 4th. Kicking off this series will be a trio consisting of George Kane on guitar, Tim Clarke on trumpet, and Wayne Moose on bass. Read more here on JazzBuffalo.
