Outstanding performance last night at 189 Public House by the Devin Kelly Organ Trio with Devin Kelly on drums, Dino Losito on Hammond organ, and Gary Solt on guitar. Mesmerizing and well-crafted arrangements were played with superior musicianship. A treat for all of us jazz lovers!
The band was fresh from recording their new CD this past week. The grooving chemistry of the trio was on display and the delivery impeccable. Be on the lookout for the release this fall.
Many thanks to the folks who came out to support JazzBuffalo, the JazzBuffalo / 189 Sunday Jazz Series, and in keeping jazz alive in WNY! And, much appreciation to Clark Crook and the staff at 189 for their super job in hosting the series! We were also very honored to have the presence last night of Buffalo guitar greats Frank Gerard and Ray Chamberlain in the house!
