JazzBuffalo is proud to announce a partnership with The Terrace at Delaware Park to host JazzBrunch Sundays at The Terrace’s historic location at Marcy Casino. JazzBuffalo will provide high-quality jazz music as patrons enjoy the experience of brunch at one of Buffalo’s cultural treasures. The Terrace is located on the upper level of the Delaware Park Lake Casino and is located across from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
JazzBrunch Sundays at the Terrace will begin on Sunday, July 8th and be held each Sunday throughout the summer from 12 pm to 3 pm. The Terrace will offer a lunch/brunch menu in keeping with its award-winning upscale casual food selections. The Terrace offers spectacular views from many vantage points. JazzBuffalo will provide and host a variety of high-quality jazz groups and ensembles each Sunday through September 2nd. The full schedule of jazz performances will be available on the JazzBuffalo website at www.jazzbuffalo.org.
The casino is situated between Hoyt Lake and the historic Rose Garden. Plans for Delaware Park were designed by renowned landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted in 1868. This year, the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Olmsted Parks, and continue to partner with the City of Buffalo to provide community access to the city’s revered park system. Delaware Park continues to resurge as a popular destination due to the efforts of The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy in upkeeping the beauty of Olmsted’s original vision for Delaware Park and the surrounding landscape.
JazzBrunch Sundays will also coincide with the Buffalo News / Albright-Knox Summer Jazz Series. Concert-goers will be able to have brunch with jazz music and then take in the jazz concerts on the steps of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
