Jazz In Town: Worldly Jazz Hits Buffalo

This past weekend’s Northwest Jazz Festival in Lewiston, NY and the appearance of Chick Corea at the UB Center for the Arts brought to a close one great summer of jazz and jazz festivals.  Thousands of people enjoyed some of the best jazz ever to make it to Buffalo in many years.  As a result, our community thrived and was brought closer together through this music we love called jazz.  

The week ahead will feature a worldly infused series of concerts.

Electric harp guitarist Donahue is an alumnus of Boston’s Berklee College Of Music, as well as an EMI-Japan recording artist. In 1982, Tim designed and built his own fretless, and later fretted, harp guitar and eventually started touring Japan, where he now resides. Madmen and Sinners (2004) were among the noteworthy cd’s released by Donahue and his group.
