Jazz In Town: 5 Christmas Jazz Events Celebrate The Holidays

Holiday and Christmas Jazz is underway for the month of December like never before.  The abundance of jazz in the holiday spirit means more than 25 Holiday and Christmas Jazz events throughout Greater Buffalo.  Be sure to check out the article below, 26 Holiday Jazz Events To Enjoy This Christmas Season, on the holiday jazz events presented by our local jazz artists.

Many are looking forward to the sold out JazzBuffalo Jazzy Christmas with the Ladies First Jazz Big Band and the Buffalo Dolls on Wednesday, December 12th.  Be sure to read below and get tickets for the second show that was added on Friday, December 21st – before it sells out!

This month, we will keep the focus on featuring Holiday and Christmas Jazz events but do visit “Upcoming Jazz” for non-holiday related jazz events:

Jazz is finding its way into every corner of the city.  And, that includes Hertel Avenue and the Black Rock areas.  Be sure to visit JazzBuffalo.org “Upcoming Events” and look for Hertel Avenue events on a new series at Sterling Tavern, boutique places like Je Ne Sais Quoi and Belsito, and the hip Sidebar.  In the Black Rock area, in addition to Sportsmen Tavern and Hot Mama’s Canteen, the Imagine Event Center and Club 861 will have jazz on their schedule.  Look for more information in the future about jazz in these areas.
