The daily news is disconcerting and can cause us all to experience anxiety. Jazz is feeling the pain of loss as we have notices of deaths due to COVID-19. A time, though, for all of us to be joined by a cause to save lives. The imperative to stay home has never meant more than this week.
Jazz has always, throughout its history, been involved in causes and movements in one form or another. Now is no different. We are seeing musicians from across the country devote their time to help make it a bit easier to stay at home and pass the time. Be sure to check out the Upcoming Events section of JazzBuffalo. We’ve loaded up a full plate of live streaming to enjoy from New York and elsewhere.
