We are settling in with staying home. New routines. New habits. New discoveries. New home-schooling challenges. New work-from-home experiences.
Then there are those who are braving human-facing work as essential employees. Brave people who work in healthcare, transportation, retail groceries, takeout restaurants, parcel delivery, manufacturing, and more. Perhaps working longer hours then they had before and on the brink of exhaustion. People that we need to keep in our thoughts and prayers with gratitude.
What we can hope is that both groups of people can take solace in listening to jazz – whether at home or at work while on break. Finding a moment to forget the chaos and uncertainty surrounding us as we endure the COVID-19 pandemic.
