As we all know, the performing arts, in particular jazz, has been devastated by the COVID-19 public health crisis. The stay at home or shelter in place orders across the country – and the world – has meant that live concert venues of all types are shuttered. From the very small to the very large jazz concert and festival events, the number of cancellations is staggering.
We all want live jazz concerts and events to come back. But when?
To help answer the “when” in this current state of pandemic living, JazzBuffalo is launching an audience survey. The survey is designed to poll people on their willingness to attend jazz concerts in the future.
Why take the survey? You will provide significant help and input on how we can map a future that benefits audiences, musicians, and venues in the short-term and the long-term.
We invite jazz fans and audiences to take the survey below. It consists of 10 brief multiple-choice questions and optional ability to provide comments. We will publish a near-future article with the results and insights.
Will you help? We will love it if you did! You can take the survey right now, below:
