We should not forget that we are still in the midst and throes of a devasting global pandemic. New York State’s admirable turnaround has been well-received and enables reopening. As we move to jazz outdoors, it should come with the constant reminder that we maintain physical distancing as well as mask-wearing in public. Without maintaining such guidelines, we risk losing what we have established at least for the summer. Let us all do our part!
