The Hot Club Of Buffalo Treat Households To Spectacular Gypsy Jazz At Premier Cabaret Lounge Live Stream

For the first time since February of this year, the quartet known as The Hot Club of Buffalo performed together on stage. Due to COVID-19, the region’s premier gypsy jazz band has been sidelined.

With obvious pent-up emotions to perform music once again, they wasted little time in unleashing musical energy. From the first tune, the infectious sounds of gypsy jazz flowed through digital airwaves to households in the region and as far away as California.

Each member of the Hot Club of Buffalo is a skilled musician and composer. What makes the band so impressive is their ability to incorporate modern aspects of jazz into original songs. Joshua Assad (guitar), Dean Gionis (guitar), E.J. Koeppel (violin), and Kevin O’Brien (bass) each contributed original songs to the nearly 90-minute concert. Demonstrating the vitality of gypsy jazz throughout.

It was a riveting second concert experience for the “Live From Premier Cabaret Lounge” jazz concert series presented jointly by JazzBuffalo and MusicalFare Theatre. The production team led by Chris Cavanagh and supported by Mark Percy and Kevin Fahey once again gave households HD quality in both video and audio. Some households chimed in that they were viewing through their large screen TVs via Amazon’s Fire TV or Apple TV.

JazzBuffalo contributor and photographer extraordinaire attended last night to capture the night in another gallery of outstanding photos. Enjoy the photos below!
