This week, we were rocked by the news of the Hotel Henry closing operations. A tremendous blow for the community. JazzBuffalo will always be grateful for the fabulous partnership, which produced many memorable jazz concerts in the past few years. Including the glimmer of light during the pandemic when we filled the park for the Hotel Henry Summer Jazz Series. We thank Hotel Henry for the precious memories. And, we especially thank Geno and Diana Principe, as well as Dennis Murphy, for their generous community-minded approach in partnering with JazzBuffalo. Doing what they could to bring good to our community as a whole.
We do not know what the future may hold for the historic building. However, we will be eager to return in some fashion in the near future…
