Friday, April 30th we celebrate International Jazz Day. This year, it will mark a special occasion as the annual tribute to jazz celebrates its 10th anniversary. Quite an achievement for a global effort to raise the awareness of jazz universally but also to make jazz a part of global humanitarian consciousness.
The global COVID-19 pandemic will once again cause International Jazz Day to be celebrated mostly virtually. The main International Jazz Day Global Concert will be available worldwide at 5 pm EDT on most social media sites. In addition, there will be other virtual celebrations worth checking out.
