The popular Jazz at Chandlerville Series will make a return to the Chandler Street destination for a third season. Last year, the outdoor use of the street stage across from Thin Man Brewery / Tappo Pizza located at 166 Chandler Street in Buffalo, proved to be a welcoming success in a summer season underscored by a global pandemic.
Jazz at Chandlerville will take place every Thursday this summer from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. The series is hosted by JazzBuffalo and sponsored by Thin Man Brewery and Tappo Pizza.
For the third season, we have another fabulous schedule of diverse music, a variety of performers, something new each week, and showcasing some of the best talents in WNY who incorporate jazz into their performances. Included this year are Maria Sebastin, Janice Mitchell, Alex McArthur, Carina and the Six String Preacher, Skiffle Minstrels, Jay/Sharp-tet, Mary Ramsey and Friends, Paul Hage and Mirage, Saranaide, Hot Club of Buffalo, Melissa Kate Project, and Hanna PK. All performances will be supported by an upgraded stage and full sound production to maintain the JazzBuffalo quality you’ve come to expect.
The Jazz at Chandlerville Series will be part of Rocco Termini’s master plan to turn Chandler Street into a music and recreation destination this summer. The locale surrounding Thin Man Brewery/Tappo Pizza will feature music each weekend, a Saturday Pop/Rock Stage series, and the grand opening of the Tappo Day Club.
