Coinciding with the formation of JazzBuffalo, we have witnessed a period of transformation in Buffalo unseen in many decades. Part of our growth has been in concert with development initiatives taking place in the city. Such as the rebirth of Marcy Casino and the Terrace at Delaware Park, the Hotel Henry/Richardson Towers Campus, Chandler Street/Chandlerville, Curtiss Hotel, Seneca One, and other iconic locations.
That’s why we are excited about the upcoming world premiere of the documentary produced by 43North, the investment organization and creators of the 43North Startup Competition. The documentary is a celebration of how the innovation and development initiatives are building Buffalo’s future. 43North in partnership with the Ralph C. Wilson Jr Foundation is proud to present the world premiere of For the Love of Buffalo.

Airing on December 8th at 7 PM, viewers can tune in to watch the world premiere of this special look into our city. Whether you are looking to tune in from the comfort of home or join in on a FREE watch party, here are all the ways you can catch this inside scoop to Buffalo’s exciting resurgence.
In the documentary, you’ll hear stories of the founders, talent, and innovation that has transformed our region and how the entrepreneurial spirit of Buffalo will benefit generations to come. One large-scale change to downtown Buffalo was the renovation that occurred in the Seneca One Tower. In the film, you’ll hear from the face behind the building, Douglas Jemal, who purchased the Seneca One tower and brought it back to life.
In one scene, you will see a contribution by JazzBuffalo in arranging for a musician to be part of the highlights in the film. You will see a clip of cellist Alex Cousins playing inside a Delaware Park archway as one of many visual and audio highlights in the documentary.
