The 2022-2023 Art of Jazz Series Begins Friday, November 11! Experience the Much-Anticipated Debut of Amina Figarova Sextet, One of the Leading Composers and Arrangers in Jazz
This Friday, the Art of Jazz Series will kick off its 2022-2023 season with one of the most prominent composers and arrangers in jazz, Amina Figarova. From her groundbreaking answer to 9/11 with September Suite to her epic Road to the Sun 20th Anniversary album, Figarova has been heralded as one of the most important jazz composers in the new century. On this tour, she responds to the post-pandemic world with another highly acclaimed album entitled, JOY, offering uplifting music in troubled times.
