The 8th Annual JazzBuffalo Poll Is Now Open For Voting

The 8th Annual JazzBuffalo Poll is now open to the public for voting. Each year, the community has the opportunity to recognize its favorite jazz artists, groups, advocates, venues, and supporters.

There are nominees in 36 categories representing individual and ensemble jazz performances, supporters, advocates, CDs, and initiatives. The winners of the 8^th Annual JazzBuffalo Poll will be announced on JazzBuffalo.org by mid-to-late January.

This year, the JazzBuffalo Poll has a refreshing amount of new-generation and next-generation jazz musicians and supporters nominated by the community. This a reflection of the emergence of a new wave of jazz talent in Greater Buffalo and a resurgence of performances after the lockdown days of the pandemic. The poll also points to the influence of jazz on the enrichment of arts and culture in the area.

The poll offers audiences, readers of JazzBuffalo, and the fans of jazz in the community the chance to weigh in with their votes on their favorite jazz musicians, groups, supporters, and performances in Greater Buffalo.
