This weekend will be the ninth anniversary of the Music Is Art Winter Youth Jazz Festival. Led by Phil Aguglia, the all-day event will feature performances by nine jazz ensembles and consists of workshops. This a shiny example of fostering a passion for keeping jazz alive amongst our youth.

Art of Jazz: Elio Villafranca & The Chick Corea Afro-Caribbean Experience
Our next Art of Jazz Series concert will feature a specially commissioned project by the Jazz at Lincoln Center. This is a unique opportunity for our city to experience an all-star ensemble paying homage to one of the greatest in jazz, Chick Corea. There are only a few performances planned worldwide for this project. In fact, the project/ensemble was just in Israel and Buffalo is next!
