Special Concert To Showcase The Music Of Phil DiRe
Come and celebrate the legendary jazz musician Phil DiRe and his remarkable contributions to jazz in Buffalo on Sunday, June 25th. The public is invited to join this free event, showcasing a new CD of DiRe’s original music titled “Legacy”. The CD features recordings by renowned national musicians and will be performed by a talented ensemble of jazz musicians.
The jazz ensemble, under the musical direction of George Caldwell, will feature Tim Clarke, Preston Brown, Rick Strauss, Wendell Rivera, Nelson Rivera, Sabu Adeyola, and John Hasselback, Jr. They will be performing music from the soon-to-be-released CD, which includes original compositions from DiRe. Get ready for a spectacular performance!

As an attendee, you will be given a complimentary CD. In addition, there is an opportunity to contribute to the creation of the Phil DiRe Music Scholarship by making donations. You can donate online during registration or in person on the day of the event.
The event takes place Sunday, June 25th at 3 pm in the spacious and beautiful Slee Hall on the campus of the University of Buffalo-North.
