Jazz at Richardson Moved From July 9 To July 16 Due to the Threat of Thunderstorms

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW DATE FOR JAZZ AT RICHARDSON – JULY 16!

We have an important update regarding the highly-anticipated return of Jazz at Richardson. Unfortunately, the unpredictable nature of Buffalo summers means we must adapt to the possibility of rain and thunderstorms. Therefore, with much disappointment, we have decided to move the July 9 event to Sunday, July 16.

While we acknowledge that it might not rain at all (the weather forecasts have literally been all over the map), the potential risk of a downpour damaging both the event and the electronic equipment is too great to ignore. We want to ensure that we provide you with the best experience possible.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and would really appreciate it if you join us next Sunday, July 16. Disappointing it is for all who worked hard in preparation. Next Sunday, we will be aiming to make Jazz at Richardson a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

Looking ahead, the long-range forecast shows a beautiful day expected on Sunday, July 16 with a temperature of 80 degrees and a very low chance of rain. So, mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable day of jazz and community!

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your understanding and ongoing support. It is your enthusiasm and involvement that make events like Jazz at Richardson possible. Let’s come together as a community and make this rescheduled event one we all remember!

We thank Douglas Development Corporation, The Richardson Hotel Buffalo, and Richardson Olmsted Campus for their ongoing support.
