A Memorable Return of Jazz at Richardson: A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community!

Melodies and Gratitude Abound as Jazz Enthusiasts Unite on the South Lawn of the Richardson Towers

What a beautiful afternoon it was for the return of Jazz at Richardson on Sunday, July 16! We are incredibly grateful to all those who attended and joined us in enjoying the mesmerizing performance by the Lindsey Holland Unit.

Lindsey Holland‘s superb jazz vocal talents lifted our spirits, while the ensemble comprising John Troy, Ed Croft, Harry Graser, Jared Tinkham, and Alec Dube showcased outstanding musicianship.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our partners, the Douglas Development Corporation, The Richardson Hotel Buffalo, Richardson Olmsted Campus, and Buffalo Rising. Their support and collaboration were instrumental in making this event possible on the south lawn of the Richardson Towers.

We would also like to extend a special thanks to our JazzBuffalo contributors: Mark Percy, whose excellent sound production ensured a seamless musical experience, and Jack Zuff, whose amazing photography captured the essence of the event beautifully.

Mark your calendars for two upcoming special Jazz at Richardson events! On Sunday, August 6th, at 4 pm, we will be hosting the Wendell Rivera Latin Jazz Ensemble, promising another delightful afternoon of soul-stirring jazz. And don’t forget to join us on Sunday, September 3rd, from 1 pm to 8 pm, for the Buffalo Jazz Festival, an all-day celebration of jazz that you won’t want to miss!

Once again, a heartfelt thank you to all who made Jazz at Richardson a memorable experience. Your support and presence make these events truly special. See you at the next jazz-filled gathering!
