“It’s as good a job of reconciling the past and the present as I have ever heard, and goes a lot further than anything else I’ve encountered in the past 12 months toward making sense out of a world gone wacko.” — Wall Street Journal
Just announced! Kleinhans Music Hall is pleased to present Veronica Swift, returning to Buffalo to perform an intimate concert in the Mary Seaton Room on February 28, 2024, at 7:30 PM. Swift has been presented twice locally by JazzBuffalo and most recently appeared on stage at Kleinhans with Chris Botti and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
JazzBuffalo is proud to serve as the promotional partner with Kelinhans Music Hall for this special event! As many of you know, JazzBuffalo and the JazzBuffalo Community have enjoyed a marvelous relationship with Veronica Swift. We have watched her evolve into one of the sensational vocalists in jazz today. Since her first appearance in the region at the Northwest Jazz Festival in Lewiston, NY in 2018 with the great jazz pianist Benny Green. Many still have fond memories of her appearance at a JazzBuffalo presented concert with Emmet Cohen in 2019; when both were just getting ready to burst through into jazz stardom.

Veronica Swift’s evolution as a vocal sensation took a major leap forward in the jazz world with her critically acclaimed 2021 release This Bitter Earth. The album followed her well-received 2019 debut album Confessions, landing on the cover of DownBeat, topping the year-end lists for vocal releases, and wowing audiences with her eclectic stage show at the Hollywood Bowl and beyond.
For her new album– aptly entitled Veronica Swift – the versatile artist stretches her wings and opens up her wide range of influences to share who she truly is: a once-in-a-generation vocalist with unabashed confidence.
