Spearheaded by compositions by Andrew Nixon, the Nixon, Croft, and Goretti Trio released their second album yesterday. Entitled, ‘Outside Agitators,’ the album liner notes by Paul Hoffman states:

“OUTSIDE AGITATORS, the second volume of Andrew Nixon’s jazz piano originals (following Andrew’s 2020 beautiful debut IN CONGRUENCE) is another aural treat!

Nixon’s eight new tunes are in turn thoughtful and introspective; at times harmonically and melodically surprising; always singing; above all SWINGING; and are again interpreted wonderfully by the trio of Nixon, bassist Ed Croft, and drummer Joe Goretti.”
