Utilizing innovative harmonizing with three vocalists, Wilson honors a stylistic technique introduced by Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66.

Experience uniquely arranged renditions of classics like Freddie Hubbard’s “Birdlike” and Herbie Hancock’s “Tell Me A Bedtime Story,” along with soulful interpretations of Stevie Wonder’s “Smile Please” and McCoy Tyner’s “For Tomorrow.” Wilson’s ability to swing effortlessly and infuse gospel roots into his music adds depth and richness to every note.

Accompanied by the talented jazz pianist Glenn Zaleski on Fender Rhodes electric piano, who adds a ’70s vibe to the performance, Wilson’s concert promises to be a journey through jazz history with a modern twist. In addition to Zaleski, he will be joined by David Throckmorton on drums, Brandon Rose on bass, Tommy Lehman on trumpet/vocals, Durrell LeGrair on vocals, and Jessica Yafanaro on vocals.
