Jazz in Buffalo: April is Jazz Appreciation Month

Appreciating Jazz Through Fabulous Upcoming Concerts

In April, we celebrate the Annual Jazz Appreciation Month. There are plenty of opportunities within the jazz community to explore, experience, and support jazz throughout the Greater Buffalo region. Our jazz community continues to expand in events as well as vibrancy, leaving us with much to appreciate!

Join us on Tuesday, April 30th at 6 pm for International Jazz Day at Seneca One and the Tellers Lobby Bar. We’ll feature a performance by “Straight Ahead with My Cousin Toné” to end this special Jazz Appreciation Month.

Join us for the final Art of Jazz Series 2023-2024 Season performance as we welcome jazz bassist great Rodney Whitaker alongside an all-star ensemble to the Buffalo AKG Art Museum auditorium. We will have another outstanding presentation on bringing studio mastery to the live stage!

We’ve got an exciting lineup of jazz in store for the 2024 Northwest Jazz Festival in Lewiston, NY. To put on the largest jazz festival in the region takes money and resources. The annual fundraiser returns this year to the Brickyard Brewing Company on Center Street in Lewiston on Sunday, April 14th and will feature “Celebrate the Great American Songbook with My Cousin Toné” for entertainment.
