Downtown Buffalo comes alive with the creative blend of art and jazz, courtesy of the fantastic collaboration known as Art Meets Jazz. We’re thrilled to announce that the Hot Club of Buffalo, accompanied by a favorite of jazz fans, Brian “Dr. Jazz” Bauer on horn, will perform for what promises to be an unforgettable night of gypsy jazz music.

The Hot Club of Buffalo, renowned for its mastery of Gypsy Jazz swing, is set to entertain the Art Meets Jazz audience with the toe-tapping sounds of Gypsy Jazz. This exclusive event marks their only public performance until June, making it an absolute must-see for Gypsy Jazz and Hot Club of Buffalo fans.

Join us on Wednesday, April 24th at 6 pm at the Brisbane Building, where the iconic cover art of the Hot Club of Buffalo’s self-titled album will transport you to another era. Featuring the historic Brisbane Building against the backdrop of Lafayette Square from the late 1800s, the scene is set for an evening of musical magic.

When at the Hunt Art Gallery/Beebe’s at the Gallery, revel in this unique celebration of creativity and community, where art and jazz converge to create an experience like no other. These vibrant artworks, influenced by punk music and the artist’s personal experiences, pay homage to friends and creatives lost to tragedies like suicide and overdose.
