This coming Wednesday. we will celebrate the 100th Centennial of the iconic Sarah Vaughan. Join us for the event – Getting Sassy: Sarah Vaughan 100th Centennial Celebration Featuring DeeAnn DiMeo – in the fabulous Seneca One Auditorium. DeeAnn DiMeo will be joined by the fantastic Nixon, Croft, Goretti Trio, and the extraordinary saxophonist Dave Schiavone.

The popular JazzBuffalo Summer JazzMondays on the rooftop patio of Tappo Restaurant will return for the summer of 2024 for its 9th season! My Cousin Toné will be back to…


The dates are all set for Jazz at Richardson. Three spectacular concerts at the Richardson-Olmsted Campus! and the Buffalo Jazz Festival! The summer locale will feature Maria Sebastian’s fabulous Songbook show, crowd favorite Wendell Rivera Latin Jazz Ensemble, and a visit from one of the top Hammond B3 jazz artists in the past three decades, Tony Monaco. Look for more details shortly about the Buffalo Jazz Festival at the Richardson-Olmsted Campus.

A wonderful story in the Buffalo News, by Nancy Parisi and Toni Roberto, about the smaller galleries outside of the AKG and Burchfield Penney that are reshaping and contributing to our arts, music, and culture communities. An outstanding album released this past week that those who love jazz, the Great American Songbook, and attendees of the Northwest Jazz Festival, Lewiston, NY want to get right away! “Flying High” under the musical direction of Champian Fulton, is a musical journey through the songs that Billie Holiday, Anita O’Day, Lena Horne, Peggy Lee, Jo Stafford, Rosemary Clooney, Ella Fitzgerald, and others all had in their repertoire.

The album features Champian Fulton on piano/vocals and two of the Jazz at the Ballroom ensemble members and superb vocalists who will appear at the Northwest Jazz Festival, Lewiston, NY on Saturday, August 24th, Olivia Chindamo and Vanessa Perea.

Get the album and then get your tickets to the festival’s Main Stage reserved seating- you will not want to miss this!
