Join us for an unforgettable evening and season as My Cousin Toné celebrates its 9th year of JazzMondays at the Tappo Restaurant Rooftop Patio! Presented by JazzBuffalo, this summer series dives into the rich legacy of the Great American Songbook, bringing you timeless classics and reimagined favorites in a setting that perfectly blends great dining, atmosphere, and fun.

Experience the playful magnificence of the Great American Songbook, as we relive and reimagine the classic songs associated with Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, and many more. Performances will feature masterpieces by George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Johnny Mercer, and other legendary composers.

Performed by one of the area’s favorite large jazz ensembles, My Cousin Toné, JazzMondays promises to showcase your favorite songs, favorite composers, and famous artists in the stunning Tappo Restaurant Rooftop Patio atmosphere. Enjoy the delicious food and drinks of Tappo Restaurant, celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and gather with friends and family while humming along to the classic music of the Great American Songbook.

The ensemble is excited to welcome back Karen Russo, who co-founded My Cousin Toné with Tony Zambito in 2008-2009 and has led her middle and high school jazz ensembles to numerous state championships, to contribute to this exciting program by offering her expert advice in music and ensemble performance.

And don’t forget, this celebration is designed to support the upcoming Great American Songbook Celebration at the Northwest Jazz Festival in Lewiston, NY, this August 23rd and 24th. It aims to help people become familiar with America’s greatest songbook.

Please mark your calendars for every Monday through Labor Day from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and come be a part of JazzMondays at the Tappo Rooftop Patio with My Cousin Toné as we celebrate the Great American Songbook. (Note: JazzMondays is weather permitting.)
