The Joyful Community

Wendell Rivera Latin Jazz Ensemble

Jack,
Thanks for all of these marvelous photos. Naturally I was especially happy to see family members: John Hasselback II, John Hasselback III, and Caitlin Hasselback Connelly there to watch their mom, Lisa Housholder Hasselback, playing keyboard with Wendell.
With so much division in the world today, it was inspiring to see that folks of all sizes, colors, and ages came together to listen, dance, and just enjoy themselves because of the music.
Let that be a model for us all.
Thank you for your wonderful commenting Ladine. It was a beautiful day of unity and truly a model for us all after a dark day in American history.

Thnk you, Sandra! It was a beautiful day of unity – a blessing indeed! You cousin’s music brings people together!
Four of us attended the wonderful jazz event at the Richardson last Sunday. Of course the music, dancing, food, weather and the unity observed was enjoyed by us and hundreds of others. I want to offer my thanks to Tony Zambito. WHAT A HOST!!! His behind the scenes hard work in organizing these concerts I believe must be brought to everyone’s attention. From his welcoming words to his antics as he wanders around and greets his guests adds to the special atmosphere. He is truly a great people person!!
A former West Side neighbor of Tony’s.
Many thanks, Dominic for the wonderful words and support! It was a great day made great by people like you! West Side!!!
