The Sounds of the American Songbook
JazzBuffalo, in collaboration with Tappo Restaurant, is thrilled about the continuation of JazzMondays, what has become a beloved downtown Buffalo tradition. For nine years, a weekly summer destination, you can now enjoy JazzMondays each Monday indoors from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Featuring the alternating talents of Dozo My Lady, led by jazz vocalist Carolyn Lansom, and the Kathy Carr Trio, these weekly performances deliver an intimate and spirited celebration of jazz and the American Songbook.

Hosted in the inviting atmosphere of Tappo Restaurant, JazzMondays exemplify ongoing efforts to establish downtown Buffalo as a vibrant destination for arts, culture, and community gathering. This initiative aligns seamlessly with other JazzBuffalo initiatives such as Art Meets Jazz at Hunt Art Gallery and the acclaimed jazz performances at Seneca One, each contributing to the city’s revitalization and transformation.

As downtown Buffalo continues its evolution, JazzMondays serve as an essential part of fostering community connection and providing residents and visitors with an integrated dining and music experience. These evenings promise warm jazz and American Songbook performances paired with Tappo’s exceptional cuisine and ambiance.
Join us every Monday at Tappo Restaurant and be part of Buffalo’s growing cultural renaissance!
