Jazz in Buffalo: Elevating Jazz and the Arts

A Vision For Jazz and the Arts

As we dive into the new year, I’m thrilled to note that I had a fantastic trip to New York City. I had the privilege of meeting with remarkable artists, managers, and leaders in the jazz world. It was a fun time exploring exciting possibilities and discussing Buffalo’s growing reputation as a vibrant jazz destination. It was inspiring to see how the momentum we’re building here is resonating on a national stage!

For my daily adventures in New York City and the artists I witnessed, be sure to visit JazzBuffalo.org and the Stories section. There, you’ll find a daily wrap-up of five days in New York.

Additionally, I want to point out that the time is right to reintroduce ArtsBuffalo, an initiative designed to strengthen the bonds between arts, culture, and our community in meaningful, innovative ways. Learn more about this vision and why it’s vital for Buffalo by reading the perspective below in this week’s newsletter.

Let’s continue to elevate Buffalo as a city where jazz and the arts thrive!

Warm regards,
Tony Zambito
Executive Director, JazzBuffalo
