Celebrating Nearly 8 Years of Jazz, Culture, and Community at Buffalo’s Iconic Marcy Casino and Terrace at Delaware Park
For nearly eight years, JazzBuffalo and The Terrace at Delaware Park have partnered to deliver the gift of live jazz in one of Buffalo’s most picturesque and culturally iconic settings. Nestled within the historic Marcy Casino, The Terrace offers an experience that blends culinary excellence, stunning views of Hoyt Lake, and the timeless music of jazz.
A new season begins in 2025 for these two beloved traditions that have become staples in Buffalo’s cultural and jazz community: JazzBrunch Sundays and Piano and Cocktail Nights.
The Return of JazzBrunch Sundays
JazzBrunch Sundays at The Terrace will begin again this season and provide the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing weekend gathering. Patrons can enjoy the soulful sounds of Buffalo’s talented jazz musicians while indulging in a delicious brunch overlooking the serene beauty of Hoyt Lake. Over the years, JazzBrunch Sundays have evolved into more than just a dining experience—they’ve become a cherished tradition for the community.
From swinging standards to intimate ballads, the music has created countless memorable moments for families, friends, and jazz enthusiasts alike. It’s been a space where the richness of the Great American Songbook meets the vibrancy of Buffalo’s jazz artists, all while connecting people in a setting that epitomizes the cultural spirit of our city.
Piano and Cocktail Nights: A Classic Revival
In addition to JazzBrunch Sundays, the Terrace will once again host Piano and Cocktail Night every Saturday night and on the first Friday of every month. These elegant evenings are an invitation to unwind in style, as accomplished pianists and vocalists provide a sophisticated soundtrack to your night.
The ambiance of The Terrace, paired with the warm tones of live piano music, creates an enchanting setting for date nights, celebrations, or simply relaxing with friends over cocktails. These evenings have become a favorite for those seeking a touch of refinement and the magic of live music.
A Partnership Rooted in Community and Culture
The long-standing partnership between JazzBuffalo and The Terrace is a testament to the enduring power of collaboration. Together, we’ve worked to keep jazz alive and thriving in a venue that holds historical and cultural significance for Buffalo.
The Marcy Casino, home to The Terrace, is more than just a restaurant—it’s a cultural landmark that symbolizes Buffalo’s heritage. By hosting live jazz events, we not only honor this legacy but also provide an essential platform for local musicians to share their artistry.
