Originally from Indiana, Ballantine carries a rich musical lineage steeped in the sounds of Indianapolis jazz legends like Wes Montgomery and Freddie Hubbard. Yet, his artistry extends far beyond traditional jazz, drawing on the influences of Americana, folk, and rock to create a sound uniquely his own.
