An Intimate Fusion of Latin Jazz, Art, and Authentic Mexican Flavors in Downtown Buffalo
JazzBuffalo is delighted to team up with Hunt Art Gallery, Beebe’s at the Gallery, and Oralia Traditional Mexican Cuisine to bring you a one‑of‑a‑kind Cinco de Mayo celebration on Tuesday, May 5th. Our special evening, with limited availability, will feature members of Buffalo’s favorite Latin Jazz group for ten straight years in the annual JazzBuffalo Poll: the Wendell Rivera Latin Jazz Quatro.
For this festive night, Hunt Art Gallery’s “Body of Work” exhibit and Beebe’s “Dog Days” showcase will provide the perfect visual backdrop, with striking artworks also on display in the Brisbane Building lobby. As you wander between gallery spaces, savor the authentic flavors of Oralia’s Traditional Mexican Cuisine while the Latin rhythms flow. The Brisbane lobby will transform into a salsa dance floor, inviting you to move to Wendell Rivera’s vibrant Latin Jazz.
