Appreciating Jazz
Jazz Appreciation Month is a time we honor the passion, creativity, and history of America’s original art form. All month long, we’ve celebrated jazz in every corner of Buffalo: by listening to our favorite records, attending live performances, and sharing stories of the artists who inspire us.
Next Wednesday, join jazz lovers around the globe for International Jazz Day by tuning in to the special concert broadcast live from Dubai at 4 pm ET on YouTube. It’s a powerful reminder of how jazz unites communities worldwide, bringing people together through its universal language.
Here at home, we’re already looking forward to an exciting May, featuring everything from vocal tributes to exciting Latin rhythms to a visit from one of the newest stars in jazz. All are promising to keep our community swinging together.
Let’s keep the spirit of jazz alive!
Warm regards,
Tony Zambito
