Celebrate With Wendell Rivera Latin Jazz Quatro!
This week, we’re thrilled to kick off our very first Cinco de Mayo Celebration as part of the unifying Art Meets Jazz initiative. It’s an evening where vibrant Latin jazz rhythms meet contemporary art in the heart of the Hunt Art Gallery and Beebe’s at the Gallery—bringing our community together for dance, delicious cuisine, and the joyful spirit of live music.
Events like this not only enrich Buffalo’s arts and culture landscape but also play a vital role in our ongoing downtown revitalization, turning heritage spaces into lively gathering places. Here’s to a night of unity, creativity, and celebration—hope to see you on May 5th!
Warm regards,
Tony Zambito

Caity Gyorgy – A Must-Attend Concert!
We keep highlighting this event because, with each passing week, it becomes even more unmissable. Rising-star vocalist Caity Gyorgy just earned her third JUNO Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album with Hello! How Are You?. On April 16, she released Asking for Trouble, a duo album with Mark Limacher celebrating the songs of Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls). And don’t miss her new single, That Doesn’t Matter, arriving May 16 as part of a full-string-arranged album due this summer!.
She’s set to appear at major festivals this summer, including her debut at the Monterey Jazz Festival. With her distinctive vocals and songwriting gifts—qualities that truly set her apart in the world of jazz vocalists—it won’t be long before she claims a Grammy win.
