2025 Art Of Jazz Series To End With One Of Jazz’s Brightest Stars
Thank you for an incredible 2025 season of the Art of Jazz Series! Your enthusiasm and support for the international artists who’ve graced the Buffalo AKG Art Museum Auditorium stage have shown the jazz world that Buffalo is more than just a stop on the tour: it’s a destination. Each performance and standing ovation has reinforced our city’s reputation as a vibrant home for live jazz and has helped draw attention from performers and audiences far beyond our region.
We’re especially excited for the season finale this Sunday, May 18, when the Emmet Cohen Trio—Emmet Cohen on piano, Phillip Norris on bass, and Joe Farnsworth on drums—takes the stage at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Their electrifying interplay promises a fitting close to 2025’s series. And while we savor that performance, we’re already hard at work planning an even more spectacular 2026 lineup, with internationally acclaimed artists poised to make Buffalo their next must‑visit jazz performance. Stay tuned—you won’t want to miss what’s coming next!
Warm regards,
Tony Zambito
