Art Meets Jazz Finale
As we enter the heart of June, I want to take a moment to invite you to something truly special this coming week. On Wednesday, June 18, we’ll close out the spring season of our Art Meets Jazz Series with what promises to be a memorable performance — jazz vocalist Ann Mitchell’s exceptional tribute to the legendary Peggy Lee. If you’ve joined us at Hunt Art Gallery this spring, you know just how uniquely gratifying this series has been — uniting the visual and musical arts, while helping to spark fresh energy for arts and culture in the heart of downtown Buffalo.
It’s been inspiring to see our community come together in such an intimate space to celebrate jazz and visual art side by side. If you haven’t experienced it yet, this final performance is the perfect opportunity. Come enjoy an evening of elegance, terrific art exhibits, cool jazz, and community as Ann Mitchell channels the timeless sophistication of Peggy Lee. Let’s close out this beautiful spring series together — and keep the momentum going for a remarkable Art Meets Jazz series.
Warm regards,
Tony Zambito

Caity Gyorgy – A Must-Attend Concert!
Catch a rising jazz star before the rest of the world does! JUNO-winning vocalist Caity Gyorgy is heading to major jazz festivals this summer—don’t miss your chance to see her in Buffalo at this intimate performance.
Act fast—each week brings Caity Gyorgy closer to stardom, and this is your chance to catch her on the rise! Fresh off her third JUNO win for Hello! How Are You?, Caity dropped a stunning duo album in April and just released “That Doesn’t Matter,” the first single from her upcoming string-arranged album. She’ll perform in Buffalo the night before taking the stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center, then heads to the Montreal and Monterey Jazz Festivals—two of the biggest in the world. With a sound that blends 1950s Great American Songbook charm with modern emotion and clarity, Caity is following in the footsteps of talents we’ve spotlighted like Veronica Swift and Samara Joy. Don’t wait—this is the one you’ll want to say you saw before a potential Grammy.
So many of you have been clicking, reading, and thinking about attending. Now’s the time to make the leap. Don’t let this be one of those shows you hear about afterward and wish you had seen.

Saturday, June 21 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
