Jazz in Buffalo: A Thrilling Rising Star Visits Buffalo!

Caity Gyorgy Makes Her Buffalo Debut

JazzBuffalo, in partnership with Kleinhans Music Hall, is proud to present the Buffalo debut of Caity Gyorgy — a once-in-a-generation jazz vocalist whose star is rising fast on the international stage. With three JUNO Awards under her belt and a style that masterfully blends the spirit of Ella, the clarity of Anita O’Day, and her own fresh musicality, Caity is setting a new standard for jazz vocals today.

This is more than a concert — it’s a defining moment for our city’s growing reputation as a hub for internationally acclaimed jazz experiences. Hosting an award-winning artist like Caity Gyorgy right here in Buffalo speaks to the community we’ve built together — one that celebrates excellence, nurtures rising stars, and cherishes the timeless beauty of jazz. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a debut performance that people will be talking about for years. Reserve your seats now and join us for what promises to be a magical evening.

Warm regards,
Tony Zambito

Catch a rising jazz star before the rest of the world does! JUNO-winning vocalist Caity Gyorgy is heading to major jazz festivals this summer—don’t miss your chance to see her in Buffalo at this intimate performance.

Fresh off her third JUNO win for Hello! How Are You?, Caity dropped a stunning duo album in April and just released “That Doesn’t Matter,” the first single from her upcoming string-arranged album. She’ll perform in Buffalo the night before taking the stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center, then heads to the Montreal and Monterey Jazz Festivals—two of the biggest in the world. With a sound that blends 1950s Great American Songbook charm with modern emotion and clarity, Caity is following in the footsteps of talents we’ve spotlighted like Veronica Swift and Samara Joy. Don’t wait—this is the one you’ll want to say you saw before a potential Grammy.

So many of you have been clicking, reading, and thinking about attending. Don’t let this be one of those shows you hear about afterward and wish you had seen.

Congratulations to Lisa Hasselback and John Hasselback, Jr., as they join Gary Smulyan’s special project, Dameronia, in New York City! They’ll be performing at the venerable jazz club, Smalls, this Friday and Saturday! Smalls has been open since 1994 and has become one of New York City’s premier venues for young jazz artists and established musicians to perform before an attentive audience in a bohemian-like atmosphere. Congrats to John and Lisa Hasselback!
