Intimate Series Continues To Breathe Life Into Downtown
Art Meets Jazz is back for Fall 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue this extraordinary collaboration that has already captured the hearts of so many in just a short time. This unique series brings together three essential elements—art, jazz, and cuisine—in a way that is breathing new life into downtown Buffalo at the historic Brisbane Building. The Hunt Art Gallery provides the inspiring backdrop of art, JazzBuffalo curates the music, and Oralia offers a culinary experience that completes the evening. Together, we’ve created something that feels both intimate and transformative for downtown and for the arts.
This series is more than just a night out—it’s an important chapter in the future development of JazzBuffalo and ArtsBuffalo. By fusing the arts in such a meaningful way, we’re shaping experiences that showcase Buffalo’s creative vibrancy and demonstrate what’s possible when community, culture, and collaboration come together.
For the fall season, we’re thrilled to present four fabulous performances:
- Cheryl Ferris and Lisa Hasselback – A celebrated vocalist bringing warmth and elegance to timeless jazz standards, joined by one of Buffalo’s most acclaimed jazz pianists.
- Nate Kalnitz Beatles Music Project – A special presentation from the JazzBuffalo Poll-winning bassist and rising talent, highlighting new and imaginative music – Beatles music in the style of Vince Guaraldi! .
- Paul Hage & Mirage – Mediterranean jazz like no other, blending flamenco, world rhythms, and contemporary improvisation.
- Ed Croft Trio: A Charlie Brown Christmas – The beloved holiday classic reimagined in a jazz setting that is sure to delight audiences. In addition, we’ll have a special pre-show appearance by guitarist and singer-songwriter Tina Williams!
Each performance is meant to be a special evening where music, visual art, and food come together for a unique Buffalo experience. Seating is limited to just 65 guests, so we encourage you to click on the links for each event and reserve your spot soon.
