Jazz in Buffalo: Building a Brighter Future Together

A Milestone Summer!

This past summer was nothing short of a milestone for JazzBuffalo and for our community. The 4th Annual Buffalo Jazz Festival marked a significant step forward in our vision to breathe new life into downtown Buffalo, transforming Ellicott Street into a place where music, community, and civic pride came together in a way we’ve never experienced before. To see the heart of our city alive with the sounds of jazz, laughter, and the energy of people gathering as one was truly inspiring.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and supported this important development. Your presence and enthusiasm made the day possible and affirmed why jazz and the celebration of the Great American Songbook must continue to be an integral part of Buffalo’s renewal. With brighter days ahead, we are already at work on more initiatives and efforts that will carry this momentum forward—ensuring jazz continues to be a catalyst for community, connection, and the revitalization of our city.

With gratitude,
Tony Zambito
Executive Director, JazzBuffalo
