Art Meets Jazz This Fall Starts!
Art Meets Jazz is back on Wednesday, September 24, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, offering another special evening where the worlds of visual art and live jazz come together in the heart of downtown Buffalo. This fall kickoff features the captivating jazz vocalist Cheryl Ferris, whose warm, expressive voice brings timeless standards to life, joined by acclaimed guitarist George Kane, a previous JazzBuffalo Poll winner and one of the region’s most respected jazz musicians. Together, they’ll deliver a night of classic songs and musical interplay—an intimate performance you won’t want to miss.
But Art Meets Jazz is more than a concert—it’s an artful experience. Guests can wander through three unique art spaces: the Hunt Art Gallery, Beebe’s at the Gallery, and the Brisbane Building Lobby, each showcasing thought-provoking works from regional artists. Add to that the delicious flavors of Oralia Traditional Mexican Cuisine and a curated selection of drinks, and you have an evening that beautifully blends sight, sound, and taste.
Since its debut, Art Meets Jazz has become a cherished occasion, enriching our community and contributing to the renewal of downtown Buffalo. Join us to experience why this fusion of art and jazz continues to inspire and bring us together. Be part of a night where the joy of art, jazz, and community takes place.
