A Swingin’ Beginning
We are on the cusp of something truly special here in Buffalo—the launch of a new era for jazz performance. And there is no better, more explosive way to ignite this movement than with A Swingin’ Christmas with Louis Prima, Jr. and The Witnesses on Friday, December 5th.
This show is the very definition of a can’t-miss event, and here is why it’s more than just a holiday concert—it’s your formal invitation to a deeper relationship with the music we love.
High-Octane Heritage
Louis Prima Jr. doesn’t just play his father’s music; he injects it with a twenty-first-century shot of adrenaline. If you’re looking for energy, stage presence, and pure, unadulterated fun, this is it. It’s a riotous celebration of classic Italian-American swing, New Orleans rhythm, and jump blues that is utterly infectious. This performance is designed to get you out of your seat and dancing, proving once and for all that this music is vibrant, alive, and ready to shake the legendary walls of Kleinhans Music Hall and the Mary Seaton Room.
This is a high-impact experience that perfectly sets the tone for the adventurous and programming, featuring renowned and acclaimed artists we are committed to bringing to the Jazz at Kleinhans program.
