An All-Star Concert at Kleinhans Music Hall Featuring Béla Fleck, Edmar Castañeda, and Antonio Sánchez
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new concert as part of the Jazz at Kleinhans program — BEATrio: Béla Fleck, Edmar Castañeda, and Antonio Sánchez — performing Friday, April 24, 2026, at Kleinhans Music Hall.
This all-star trio brings together three extraordinary artists from across the musical spectrum. Béla Fleck, the world’s premier banjo virtuoso and multiple Grammy Award-winner, joins forces with Colombian harpist Edmar Castañeda, whose rhythmic inventiveness has redefined his instrument, and drummer Antonio Sánchez, one of the most dynamic and expressive percussionists in modern jazz music. Together, their collaboration promises a thrilling, boundary-pushing evening of rhythm, melody, and innovation.
The addition of BEATrio to the Jazz at Kleinhans lineup, brought to you by Jess Basil and Kleinhans Music Hall, is another demonstration of how Buffalo is becoming a true destination for internationally acclaimed jazz and creative music. With this concert, Kleinhans Music Hall and JazzBuffalo continue to demonstrate a shared commitment to building a thriving Jazz at Kleinhans program — one that celebrates the best in jazz, the Great American Songbook, and cross-genre artistry.

Audiences can look forward to a very special Jazz at Kleinhans Weekend, April 24–26, 2026, featuring BEATrio on Friday and the John Pizzarelli Trio on Sunday — two incredible performances that embody the spirit of building an internationally recognized jazz center in Buffalo.
Get ready to experience this remarkable event at Kleinhans Music Hall, as we continue our shared mission to elevate Buffalo’s standing as a premier center for jazz performance.
