A New Chapter Starts Friday!
This week marks a truly exciting new chapter for JazzBuffalo as we embark on the journey of building Buffalo’s Premier Jazz Center at the iconic Kleinhans Music Hall. After years of planting seeds—festivals, JazzMondays, Art Meets Jazz, and more—we now take a major step forward with a full six-concert season dedicated to presenting the jazz people love, performed by internationally acclaimed artists in one of the most beautiful concert halls in America.
And we’re off to a swinging start. This Friday’s opening night, “A Swingin’ Christmas” with Louis Prima, Jr. and the Witnesses, is set to welcome nearly 400 people who will be tapping their toes, clapping their hands, and maybe even sneaking in a little dancing in the aisles. It’s the kind of joyful energy that reminds us why we do this—and why Buffalo is ready for a premier home for jazz that speaks to the heart.
Thank you, sincerely, to all of you who have supported this vision. Your enthusiasm, presence, and belief in what jazz can mean for our city make all the difference. Together, we are shaping something extraordinary for Buffalo. Let’s celebrate this moment—and the many memorable nights of music ahead.
With gratitude,
Tony Zambito
