Jazz in Buffalo: Getting Ready for a New Chapter and a New Year

A New Chapter Begins—And It Only Gets Better From Here

What an extraordinary beginning to this new chapter for Jazz at Kleinhans. Last Friday, more than 400 of you filled the Mary Seaton Room with energy, joy, and a sense of shared purpose. It was a moment that reminded us why we do this work—why building Buffalo’s premier jazz center matters, and why our community deserves a home where the melody still matters, and the experience brings us together. Your enthusiasm set the tone for a future filled with remarkable artistry and special musical moments.

And the best part? We’re just getting started. As we look ahead to next year, the bar only goes higher. World-class concerts, deeply meaningful celebrations like our Harold Arlen tribute, and a commitment to creating a gathering place for jazz lovers across our city—all of this is on the horizon. Thank you to everyone who attended the inaugural Jazz at Kleinhans. Your belief in the vision fuels everything that comes next.

Here’s to an exciting journey ahead—and to experiencing it together.

With gratitude,
Tony Zambito
Executive Director, JazzBuffalo
