Expanding access to a sold-out celebration — and advancing our mission to bring world-class jazz to more of our community.
When we announced Emmet Cohen Presents Miles & Coltrane at 100 as part of our Jazz at Kleinhans program, we knew it would be special. We had an inkling of just how quickly our community would respond.

The concert reached sold-out capacity.
That kind of enthusiasm says something powerful about Buffalo’s deep appreciation for our Jazz at Kleinhans initiative and for the enduring legacies of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. It also reaffirms why we launched Jazz at Kleinhans in the first place: to present world-class artistry in a setting worthy of the music, while expanding access for our community.
What we can do and haven’t been able to do before is adjust to what the community is telling us about attending.
Thanks to our valued partners at Kleinhans Music Hall, additional seats have been opened for this extraordinary concert!
This is more than an update about adding more seats. It represents a meaningful step forward in our mission. When we established Jazz at Kleinhans, one of our guiding goals was to improve accessibility through thoughtful programming and strong collaboration. The ability to expand capacity for a high-demand event like this is something we simply did not have before — and it reflects the progress we’re making and the strength of our partnership.
Most importantly, it means more of you can join us.

Emmet Cohen is one of the most compelling pianists of his generation, and his tribute to Miles & Coltrane at 100 promises to be a profound and celebratory evening honoring two giants who reshaped American music. This is the kind of concert that reminds us why jazz matters — why it endures, evolves, and continues to inspire.
If you thought you missed your opportunity, this is your moment.
We invite you to reserve your seats soon for this all-star quintet and be part of what promises to be a special time at Jazz at Kleinhans and at Kleinhans Music Hall.
Reserve soon!
